News
CoastBusters has officially been recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization!
This milestone means that all donations to CoastBusters are now tax-deductible, helping us further our mission of supporting local breast cancer patients and raising awareness right here on the Oregon Coast.
Since our very first walk in 2021, we’ve seen how powerful this community can be when it unites for a cause. Now, with our new nonprofit status, we’re not just continuing the fight—we’re building a stronger foundation to expand our programs, reach more patients, and create lasting change.
We couldn’t have done it without our walkers, donors, volunteers, and partners. Together, we’re bringing hope, support, and awareness to our entire community!

Can’t attend a walk? You can still make a difference by donating directly to CoastBusters, today!
Every gift helps provide support, resources, and hope to local breast cancer patients.
Since CoastBusters' inception in 2021, nearly $150,000 has been raised!!!
Thank you for helping make this possible!

Our Story
Sonia and Jeanette were neighbors and friends on the Oregon Coast in Lincoln County, OR, when their lives took an unexpected turn. Both were diagnosed with breast cancer just months apart in late 2019 and early 2020
—a challenge that ultimately brought them together in a shared journey of healing, resilience, and strength.
