Paint a Duck. Help Fight Breast Cancer.
Looking for a fun way to support local breast cancer patients?
The Mustard Seed and Dragon’s Breath Pottery in Florence have teamed up for a special CoastBusters fundraiser that combines creativity, community, and a good cause.
From August 24 through September 30, visit either location during regular business hours and choose from three different ceramic ducks to paint.
Pricing
1 duck: $20
All 3 ducks: $30
Once your duck is painted, Dragon’s Breath Pottery will fire the finished piece and donate it to the CoastBusters Walk Team. The completed ducks can then be auctioned to raise even more money in support of the Florence CoastBusters Walk.
Funds raised for CoastBusters help support local breast cancer patients with real-life expenses during treatment and recovery, including groceries, utilities, gas, medical bills, and other day-to-day needs.

Keep the Pink Going: Tickled Pink Party
After the CoastBusters Newport Walk and lunch after-party, there’s another way to keep the pink going.
The North Lincoln Hospital Foundation and Charlotte R. Lehto invite the community to the Tickled Pink Party on Saturday, September 26, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at The Pines Dine in Lincoln City.
The evening will celebrate hope and survivorship while raising funds for advanced breast imaging technology at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. Guests can enjoy specialty cocktails, a live auction, costume contest, photo booth and more.
